MIDDLESEX HURON RFC

Junior and Youth Rugby Club

2024/2025 Winter Programming Information Coming Soon

This announcement pertains to U14 and U16 (and future U18) (Boys and Girls) athletes only.
(More to come later with respect to on-going developments for U12 and younger)

The London and Middlesex region will be establishing a regular Winter Training program to
meet the development needs of our athletes.

This programming will be aligned with Southwest Branch Rep team programming and provide a
local option as initial step on the Pathway to Branch and Provincial teams as well as
preparation for college and university programs.

In addition to programming for athletes aspiring to higher levels, this will also include
training for athletes simply hoping to build confidence in their skills and game understanding.

This project is a partnership between London St. George’s and Middlesex Millers and Southwest
Branch Union to establish a West Hub for Southwest Branch Development Training.

Costs for the programming will be kept minimal. Additionally for those willing to
volunteer with U10/U12 leadership development and coaching initiatives, further
discount will be provided and may even enable free participation in Winter Training programming.

Detailed schedule information and programming modules are still being finalized.
This project will have on-going review and analysis to ensure it is meeting the
needs of all stakeholders locally and throughout the broader Southwest Branch
region in providing optimal programming and coaching.

This programming has no connection or partnership with the Masterclass Academy,
but its scheduling will not conflict.

To kick things off there will be a FREE clinic Friday Nov. 15 10am-12pm at BMO
indoor training facility. (See event in Spond) More complete information
will be provided here and shared throughout the region.

Programming will begin over the Christmas holidays and up to the beginning of the
High School season. Additional workshops / clinics will occur throughout the year.
Aspiring athletes will receive all the necessary programming and coaching to maximize
their athletic potential and ability to lead their teams and be great teammates.
